Ok folks! I've said this before and I'll say it again: If you have a favorite then work your fingers to the bone and vote as many times as you wish-that's what others are doing. Example: Sanjaya. He should have gone home long ago.
Not watching the show is not the answer either, it only loses votes for a really good singer.
I agree that this year is a bit strange for the show, but I guess they are trying out new ways to keep it up to date-all shows do that.

I vote for Sanjaya. The reason I am voting for him is that if he is so bad as Randy, Paula, and Simon say he should have been sent home during Hollywood week. They let Sanjaya stay so my goal is to vote him safe long enough that when the American Idols go on tour he is on the tour.
My personal opinion is that if you forget the lyrics to a song you should be sent home regardless of how the voting went. There is no reason that a person who calls themselves a singer should forget words to a song.

Sanjaya does stink but i think i figured out who is voting for him i think it is the whole country of India who is voting for him because they don't really hear him sing they just see an indian dude and say oh lets vote for him. it has to be what is happening, the only other reason would be that people just feel sorry for him and think he is sweet and cute in a 4 year old kind of sense. But like the Randy and Simon saywhen someone good is voted out, This is a singing competition and America doesn't see that. One thing i don't like about Paula is that a lot of times when she is judging she more focuses on peoples looks than there singing ability.

I was wondering the same thing until last night, I believe the whole country of India is voting for him (I don't know if he is Indian or not, but he looks it). There is no way he is advancing because of his 'singing'. He can't sing or dance or hardly move for that matter. It is maybe the 8th wonder of the world!

OMG! I couldn't believe he stayed in this week. He's a nice boy I'm sure, but the kid can't sing. Now we have to see him another week. Grrrr

i find it kind of funny that people are saying they aren't going to watch the show anymore because it isn't based on talent or whatever...
there are always a few contestants each year that get through because they are the underdog or all the preteen.teen girls think he is cute etc....
it is not something new.....
but in the end they seem to end up with talented people when it gets closer to the end.....
