I recently received an e-mail stating that I won one million US dollars and for me to claim such big amount, it needs me to provide my personal information like my name, address, contact numbers, next of kin, work address and occupation. After giving those information, I never heard back from them. They did not ask me about my bank account. It was too late when I realized that the company is involved in a scams since that was the first time I received e-mails like those that uses the name of a respected company. I believe they just get my personal information for their unrighteous intent. I want to file a report or a complain against them to protect my privacy as well as my identiy. How do I go about doing this?

Contact your local police, make a report. They will give you info on how to put a credit watch on your credit records. I forget what it is called now and I used to teach this class. Basically what it does is not let any new things done on credit in your name without a verbal request from you. After a month or two you can lift it as they will have moved on to easier prey by then. In the future, NOTHING in this world is free especially a lottery you never entered. Never give any bit of of your personal info to anyone you do not know for 100% certainty who it is.

Why in the H**L did you give them your personal information to some complete stranger on the internet?! I'm sorry, but you should have been more 'wise' in your actions. You can contact the FBI for internet fraud, but good luck with getting anyting taken care of.
