If the limit is just on download, then it is really BIG. Without downloading anything large, you can go on surfing for about 12-14 hours daily.
However, if the limit is on downloads and uploads together, then it is just about decent. Again, without downloading any big file, you can surf for upto 5-7 hours daily.
For your information,
A movie can be anywhere between 0.5 - 1.5 GB. So, with this connection, it won't be ideal to download them. Of course, you can go for them if it's the last day of the month and you still have got a hell lot of download limit.
An mp3 song can be anywhere between 1-7 MB. (1 GB = 1024 MB)
The size of software files can vary widely. They are usually mentioned near their download links.
Chatting with friends can consume upto 5 MB an hour, if there is no limit on upload, and upto 15 MB if there is limit on uploading.
Opening a single webpage (like Yahoo) can consume anywhere between 5 -100 KB (1 MB= 1024 KB), if there is no limit on upload, and between 15-200 KB if there is limit on uploading.

Depends on what you look at.
At any given rate of listening to music, maybe looking at pictures and sending emails...
I would say no more than 10-15 hours.
2GB is not a lot anymore these days, it goes quickly.

That is dependent on how much you upload or download. If you upload or download a lot of files, you are not going to be happy with it. If not, it could be quite enough.
