Saving Tiger Woods 07 for Wii?

I just bought Tiger Woods 07 for Wii but it wont let me save my friends char. on his SD card, only on the system memory, why is it not giving me a option to save it directly to the sd card. If anyone knows it would be awesome.

maybe you have to save it first then go into the data management then copy it to the sd card??
