My ex bf said when he was tiding his room, he found a letter he wanted to send me 4 years ago.. but for some reason he never did..
My question is: why would he want to send me a 4 years old letter? dont you think this is strange?

I think it means he STILL WANTS TO MAKE AN IMPACT ON YOU. Whether he really did write the note years ago, what the contents of the letter are and what is the significance of it appearing now do not really matter: all that matters is HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT IT? The fact that you have raised this question would suggest that there maybe some underlying feelings here.

Maybe he just wanted to clarify his feelings that he wasn't able to put into words. I've had problems with my sons lately and I wrote them a two page letter stating my feelings and it made me feel so much better! Some people have such a hard time with words. However, does he want to send it to you NOW? If so, I would read it and just take it from there. It could be something that makes you feel very special, or maybe he was going through a hard time and just wants someone to know his feelings.

Could be strange - depends on when he write the letter - was it when the relationship ended or was it written during the relationship. The contents may not be relevant to either of you after so long.

I think it means he has a messy room and isn't very good at tidying. It's probably a love letter and he feels the same today as he did four years ago. Why waste all that effort, paper and ink?

Uhm, he meant he wanted to send it four years ago, not today. But he found it today.
OR, he's stuck in the past, and wants to send a message to future you to save his life in that letter!

Receiving a love letter is always nice and if it is four years old and still applicable, sigh, you are a lucky girl.

it depends if you broke up wit him or if he broke up with u..
if u broke up wit him then it means he definitely still has feelings for you. if he was the one tht broke up wit u, then im guessing it means he wants you back becuz the whole letter thing is to show you how much he loved you back then [im guessing] and the bright side of the relationship u once had.

i dont think itstrange.alot of the times there are things people want to clear up or just say and wish they had said them. maybe this is one way for him to do it. obviuosly if he kept it for so long he kept it was important enough for him to do so. maybe now he has the guts to say now what he sould have said then

NO THEY WOULD BE HIS THOUGHTS AT THE TIME HE WROTE YOU THE LETTER WHY NOT ASK HIM FOR IT AND READ IT TO SEE IF HE HAS CHANGED
