First of all, you need to realize that Iraq is still a war zone. Having said that. You can apply for almost any type of job. Secretary, etc. You will be paid handsomely. A friend of mine is in Iraq working in construction at over 100,000 dollars a year. wever, if he stays the full five years, the company will give him a bonus of 500,000 dollars. He has been there for 2 years now. He hates it. Your pretty much locked up in your room most of the time due to security concerns. He does get paid well but he can't spend it anywhere. He does get three weeks vacation and boy does he have a ball then. You really need to consider safety. My friend said the guy that worked there before him was killed by an ambush of terrorists. This was even in the "green zone" Carefully think about why you want to do this? Is it purely for the money? My friend did this because he owed the IRS 200,000 dollars and his business went bankrupt. He was behind on child support and he was threatened to be put in jail. Which he had to go through a lot of red tape befoer going. Some companies in Iraq will not allow you to go if you even so much as have a blemish on your security clearance. oh yea, you need a HIGH security clearance. Very though to get.
