Everybody hates them because you can't understand the screaming very well, unless you know the lyrics! The lyrics are INCREDIBLE! And so is the music itself! The words go deeper than any other songs I've heard!

U2, i completely agree w/ Henry. I think they're just getting a little too old to rock. Not that there's anything rock w/ oldies and stuff(they don't necessarilly go under oldies.) But dude U2 just needs to quit now. I think how to dismantle an atomic bomb was possibly their worst album yet. Oh and rock is not childish and silly, it's just different, some of it has a lot of meaning and some doesn't. And i love the different types of rock (especially punk)and it's got history to it.You shouldn't judge. Rock's like way better than other stuff...well at least from my point of view.

EVE 6! Listen to their Horroscope album...the best is freakin awesome and got no respect...the deeper tracks off this album really show what they band is made of
OUR LADY PEACE! This is got to be the most underrated band in the states, i know at home in Canada they get respect by here in the states they are totally underlooked....all of their albums so that their music is almost from another demention all together..plus the lead signer Rain Maida, and that voice, have got to be from another planet all together
whO can i mention next except FALL OUT BOY, read their lyrics and u will be astrounded...they song all poppy but their lyrics are PURE GENIUS, READ THE LYRICS

(To add my 2p to the earlier argument, yes, U2 IS a rock band, and I think that their depth has been eclipsed by their stardom. I also think that the 1st answerer wrote U2 as a JOKE).

My Chemical Romance...okay they may not be that rock..but people alwyays slate them, and most of the time its people that dont even listen to them. They think all they do is promote self harm etc, when they do the complete opposite, theyve actually stopped a lot of ppl hurting themselves.
