This is one of those many Microsoft recovery answers that we all hate and they were worse in Windows 98. They either give you an incomplete answer or an answer only one of their software engineers will understand. Anyway write down their answer and go to their web site forums and see if someone there has had the same problem and read the answers they were given. I know this is slow but I have done this before myself and it does work.

My First Suggestion would be to run some utils
Check the System in Safe Mode First.
See if you can run Clean Disk, Defrag, then Checkdsk/f
If you can't run all, at least try Defrag first, or Chkdsk/r .... the r switch will take a while but it helps.
See if you can get back in and run clean disk, and then defrag... and make sure you get a 0,0,0 result from Defrag, even if it takes 3 or more tries

I researched your problem via google.
Try Removing Yahoo Messenger and all Yahoo components from your computer.
Click START>>> CONTROL PANEL>>>> ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS...
Scroll to the bottom of this list and remove all of your YAHOO items.
Then go to yahoo.com and RE-DOWNLOAD the yahoo messenger.
Also visit windows update and update all your computer components.
to do this,
Open Internet Explorer
Click Tools in Internet Explorer
Click Windows update, and follow the options, after each restart RE-CHECK for windows updates.

hello! i`m used to be in your case and the best way to solve this problem is : saving your important file to storage disk , and starting to reinstall your window (if you have ghost file it become easier for you to reinstall your window) . After reinstalling you should take notice of popup or install anti spyware &popup software at microsoft`s web page. Good luck!

the two a plague that your anti-virus application can not detect, has entered your pc and is combating the pc from loading OR your potential furnish desires changing using fact the fan sounds like it is not working to ultimate of this is skills, This appears like the case, try taking the potential furnish out of your pc , that's placed on the suitable and could choose unscrewing, that's a steel field do no longer open the field as their isn't something you're able to do of their, in the past you eliminate this field get colored tape and wrap a bite of this on each cord this is connecting on your motherboard, CD compartment etc, that way if this technique would not artwork you are able to continuously replace the field and be attentive to the place all the wires go ! as quickly as the potential furnish has been bumped off, visit a working laptop or pc shop and get a similar potential furnish which will in good shape and sustain the possibility of your pc, you ought to continuously get a potential furnish unit from yet another pc yet you would be able to adventure loss of potential on your pc using fact the fan is suffering ! Insert the hot potential furnish unit into your pc at the same time as staring on the wiring on your old field and matching the wires up ! this is going to artwork if this isn't any longer the case then I advise a clean pc or deliver this particular one to a working laptop or pc shop !

As you haven't mentioned any details of the problem, you should join a free forum like www.spywareinfo.com or www.bleepingcomputer.com and post your HJT log there with a brief description of your problem and a techie will help you out.

whether your computer is working without internet connection or not?
if it is working means its having spyware adware problem. try to put the spyware remover and solve the problem.

That's not your computer, it's your BROWSER =p
download and use this one instead
http://mozilla.com
Safer, less bugs, and looks just like internet explorer!
It could also be due to either a virus, or outdated programming.
Use this to scan for viruses if you don't have a scanner
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
Also try reinstalling your messenger =)
