Making eye contact is something that a lot of people have trouble with, in part b/c of low self esteem, looking into the eyes can feel like looking into the soul and people want to hide, maybe your looking at girls who don't want your attention, or just maybe you an old soul that others can feel would know them to much, just keep looking and smiling and one of them will respond.

Either they are shy, think you're ugly, or don't want yew to see them looking at yew cause they've been staring at yew with their mouths open for the last half an hour ;x

coz some girls are shy wit the attention that they're getting.. or if they look back at u, it might be interpreted as mutual interest and so looking dwn wil prevent any misunderstood assumptions..
