Some signs are there but do not know how to go about finding out the truth without asking him. If I did I know he would lie.

Before I begin my list here, just be sure you are not confusing close, platonic male friendships with sexual relationships. If you start accusing your husbands' friends of being his lovers, you are going to get him angry at you pretty fast.

The list:

1. He seems to disappear at times and you don't know where he is and he doesn't tell you outright where he has been.
2. He seems to have male friends that you have never met or don't know too much about.
3. He gets phone calls from males whom you might not know and they don't want to leave a message.
4. He is seen in places where gay and bi men may meet anonymously.
5. You catch him in a lie. He tells you he was in one place and then find out he was not there.
6. You find a receipt that cannot be explained.
7. He has visited gay/bisexual sites on the internet.

I doubt very much that he will leave blatant signs of same-sex interest around you (like pornography and the like).

Note too that a lot of the items on the above list could be applied to a man having an affair with a woman too.

Once again, be careful, dear. Do not confuse his platonic male buddies with possible lovers. It can happen but that is rare. Usually a closted bi man will keep his friendships and his relationships very separate. He no more wants his straight male friends to know what he has been up to than he wants his wife to know.

Good luck. I sense that you already have experienced some warning signs from your husband and you don't know how to interpret them. I hope everything turns out the best for you.

I totally agree with Nickyhunter's Answer. You need to confront him, especially if he goes out alone and doesn't tell you. He could be having an affair. Do you have any kids? If you do don't leave him. Go get counseling. If he doesn't go with you go alone and if you do hire a babysitter unless you have a kid who is old enough for watching the other sibs. If he goes with you, then it's a start. Good luck! Hope it works out.

There's just no specific way to tell if he is indeed having an affair, bi or otherwise. The only full proof way would be to catch him on the act or hire a private investigator who would supply you with proof. I still believe the best way to find out is that he be courageous enough to admit it and open up to you.

If you know your husband would lie to you if you asked him to be honest about his life, I think you have a lot more to worry about than who he is having relationships with.

if you suspect he is having an affair (it doesn't matter if it is with a man or a woman) you should confront him. Look for signs, is he grooming more than usual, making up excuses to go places alone, having more business meetings than usual, hanging out more than usual with his friends, being distant with you in bed, etc.

If you asked and he'd lie then as far as I'm concerned your relationship is DEAD.

It sounds like you two need therapy regardless. If you can't trust someone you can't completely love them either.

I don't know what a 'bi' relationship is ... but sometimes you can scent the perfume on his clothes ... and sometimes it is just better not to know .... also, he may not be so all fired up about his family life ...

we don't own our husbands, and that is one good reason for a woman to have money / job of her own .... so she is free to leave ...
