The University of North Carolina's men's basketball program has given us Michael Jordan, Vince Carter, Dean Smith, James Worthy, Kenny Smith, Rasheed Wallace ... North Carolina is a perennial basketball power, which I respect as I'm a University of Kansas alum, and UNC usually beats Duke.
The North Carolina State program has given us Chris Washburn and Thurl Bailey (Jim Valvano was cool) ... and they defeated my beloved Houston Cougars (Phi Slamma Jamma) in the National Championship game.
Who do I like better? The Tar Heels.

Definitely a bigger Tar Heel fan than Wolfpack fan. Better history and fan base.
