When you hurt you want the one you love to hurt also. It's just a natural reaction to some people. We only hurt the ones we love because we know they will still love us no matter what and vice versa.

Well the truth is that we are more vulnerable to being hurt by someone we love, we trust them, we share confidence, we are intimate, we let our hair down. We are easy targets when they don't live up to our expectations or they do something unexpected and bad, or seemingly uncaring. Does it have to happen? No, but chances are it will and it is part of life, and love and maturing in this existence called life.

B/C as humans we think we are not responsible for our feelings and we lash out, out of no self control. We have been taught that we have no control over our thoughts and therefore our behaviors resulting from those thoughts and feelings are not in our control. Who better to take it out on than those who will still love us? But I say we do have control i we want to and do what it takes to take control of our thoughts, feelings, and behavior. I have done it myself, My motto is just b/c you can hurt some ones feelings does not mean it is okay. Just b/c loved ones will still love you does not mean you will still love you. How can we love ourselves and hurt others? If you are hurting others it is usually b/c you are hurting. Figure that one out and maybe you'll stop hurting others.

what are the specifics. i mean, i don't think that we realize that we are hurting them, most of the time, but when we do hurt them, i think if we're talking about emotionally and not physically, that we're human so we're going to make a few mistakes a long the way and possibly go against our better judgment, but if we're lucky, we are forgiven and we learn from our mistakes where we are able to share our knowledge with someone who really needs our help.

I think we do this, because we know they'll forgive us for what we do/have done. And vise versa. Isn't it heart wrenching though ,in the long run, how we feel when we're hurting, and have hurt someone?
