In this poem there is a verse which says I wield my pen for BOG TRUMPET now and then"
please explain this line.

He writes for a magazine called Bog Trumpet..

the verse means the frog in order to impress nightingale says he writes the song for magazine called bog trumpet frequently

Well,yes Bog trumpet is either a newspaper or magazine for which the frog writes.
Behind this is his intention to impress the nightingale and gain her confidence so as to be able to destroy her later.
