could someone tell me around what time implantation bleeding is likely to occur. Am not due period til 21st March but have had cramping for around 5 days now and have some light bleeding this morning. Could this be implantation bleeding and could I be pregnant?

sounds like that's what it is. It's hard for me 2 determine when u may have implantation bleeding as u don't give the date of ur LMP. If ur period doesn't come on the 21st do a test. Good luck and hope u get the result u want.

Implantation is said to generally occur around the time your normal period is due or shortly before. As its just one week until your due period it could be, especially if you have not been on the pill and never normally suffer with any bleeding between periods before. Implantation bleeding is much lighter than a period & occurs when the fertilised egg implants in your uterus. It is pinky or brownish in colour & can be scanty & stop & start over a few days.
If it is an early period you will soon know as it will develop heavier as it normally would.
There are tests you can buy now that can be used up to 4 days before your due period (clear blue or first response) so if you still think you may be next week you can test then. All the best x

Implantation bleeding usually happens about 10 days after conception, or about a week before your period.

7 - 10 days after conception. it is usually very light and can last from 1 day -6 days and be a bright red not dark. so the dates are right that it could be .. or you could just be having an early period which can sometimes happen . good luck
