This news item states that a guy successfuly sued a company for sending him one single spam. How can I do the same to all those viagra advertising spammers? I want to be able to claim some damages as their spams are actually offending me. Can I still sue them if the spammers are not in the UK?

He said outside of the UK is not covered like you im sick of spammers & will be checking out, how to take them to court.

You could sue if you've got the money...the power...and a good solicitor but if the spammer in in the US you might have to have the backing from the FBI. I hope all the spammers get sued.

I think we are a long way off it is so irritating to get all these spam mail now the ehaders are designed to make it look like an ordinary email to fool companies like Yahoo who filter spam mail,I agree some of them are very offensive if you are a woman.

Actually The cost of suing a company would be much higher than how much you will win in the court.

they would have to be based within the EU for you to sue them, it tells you that at the bottom of the news article.
