I honestly think so. JKR says she is not going to write any more books about him. The only way to do that is to kill him off. Also to prevent other authors from taking her idea and using it to write more books, she will kill him off. She has stated many times in all six books so far that NO one can come back from the dead. Therefore by killing him off it makes other authors attempts to revive him moot. Yes I think she is going to kill him off. I am 90% sure.
But then again JKR is good at misdirection. She wants people to speculate about what will happen and tries to lead them in the wrong direction. So who knows?!?! But you know what I think. If that counts for anything.

I don't think so--it's too obvious. Remember--Neville Longbottom was also born on July 31, and the prophecy didn't name names--everyone just assumed it meant Harry, since he was attacked, and Neville didn't show much aptitude for magic. But with the DA, he's gotten a lot stronger. He's got just as much reason to hate Voldemort as Harry, too, and he has to see the results regularly. I think Dumbledore's still alive, too--remember at the very beginning of Book 6, when he told the Weasley's to come up with a password to identify themselves, because the Deatheaters had found a way to duplicate other people? It was never mentioned again, even to Harry. I think "Dumbledore" is really Wormtail--the duplication spell just didn't work as well on his silver hand.

Its not sure that wheather he will die or not in book 7.b'coz J.k.Rowling had said that she will not tell anything about the 7 part. But maybe he will die because maybe J.K.Rowling doesn't want that anyone else would make sequel to harry potter after harry potter 7.

I hope he does(serves him right!) and Voldemort takes over power.
It would be good fun better of course than any Harry Potter book I have taken the pain to read so far.

yes, I think Harry is going to die in harry potter7, because I have read that in the newspaper. But, maybe Jk Rowling wants to create suspense about her book.

I hope not. If he die, then there's really no chance of another sequel. But JK Rowling did said that at least 2 main characters will die in the book.

I know that all of us want harry to stay alive, but it is not according to our liking, but according to the writer's thought. Mrs. Rowling once said that she did not want harry to stay alive so that after she dies, nobody can continue this legend of her's and take some of the credit of her works.
so, all we can do is wait an hope for the best!!!

JKRowling only knows.
But I hear that she is pestered too much by the kids and news guys, wherever she goes. Totally denied of privacy.
That she is frustrated and would end the HP series in her next book.

Who konws, it may be only a rumor floated, to get a feeler.

Anyway, lets not worry too much about a fictitious character.
