Educated folk tell me that yesterday was Pi= 3.14 day. Would not apple pie day be better?

Apple pie, pumpkin pie, key lime pie, peach pie, coconut cream pie, banana cream pie, razzleberry pie, rhubarb pie, lemon merangue pie, Boston cream pie, Oreo cookie pie, french silk pie, chocolate cream pie, strawberry pie, cherry pie, mincemeat pie, orange chiffon pie, raspberry pie. Hey, why don't they make a concord grape pie?
My husband and son can have the pi day.

I completely agree. The scholars enjoy PI day because they have a functional grasp of mathematics. And if you don't have that hold on math, then you do with pie. Every culture,gender, and intelligence level understands the importance of food.
I would prefer Pie day, it tastes better.
Granted Pi is Pi universally. But, other countries have names for the crusted pastry that we call Pie. On that account, the two Pie terms cannot always be used interchangeably.
