because he really does love u. not because he doesnt have personality. it is great and should make u feel really proud to have made a human heart love u so. this is one of the most true and honest love- that's family love. Yet his love for you shouldnt deprive him of his independency. If you could show him sometimes how u can depend on him as he depends on you; and how he could show other people the kind of care he shows it to u, he would just become a caring person loved by others and love is the best reward u can get in this life.

Lucky Isha, your brother is the best possible brother on the earth u have. He is there to protect u from smallest possible danger, a facility only few girls have. Ask a girl having no brother at all. Respect his strong feelings too much.

Big brothers tend to be over protective because they know that some guys could be serious assholes.
He's just looking out for you, so don't worry.
I don't know how old you are, but if you're old enough, just tell him to back off.
He can't shelter you forever. He can't always be there for you.
You need to go out and experience life on your own, and make your own mistakes. .
He needs to know that.

Maybe bicuse he thinks you are too young to be alone or maybe he is the one that is affraid of being alone. Well probably he is just too much consearned.
