My son was born 5 weeks early and is just a joy to have in my life. He has always been developmentally on track and usually beyond his gestational/birth age. My question is he turned 10 months old today and I was wondering how many naps per day do you have your 10 month old babies take and how long are the naps and how much do they sleep at night? When I told one of my daughters RT's that come to the house that mine was taking 2 naps, one in the morning and one in the afternoon she looked shocked! She asked did he sleep through the night I told her he wakes up around 3 for a drink of water but goes right back to sleep as long as we dont pick him up - turn on a bright light- or talk loudly to him

I dont mind him waking up because then I can change him so he's not in the same diaper all night and no matter what pampers said I know he has to feel moisture and maybe thats part of the reason he wakes up. She told me her kids took one nap about 2 hrs long and didnt wake up at all during the night. I know what I do for my child is the right thing for us and him but was just wondering what other babies his age are doing. Oh and then he wakes up about 6am for a bottle of formula and goes back to sleep til 730-8

Your little guy is just perfect. You must always trust your instincts as a mom and know that you are doing what's best for baby! Mom's always know what's best for their babies. So don't worry what others are doing or saying. Never second guess yourself! My little one is 9 1/2 and she takes her first nap around 9:30 am and her second around 2pm. Both naps are 1 hr to 1h 1/2. Then she's down for the night at around 8 pm and up around 7am. She wakes up only for her pacifier at night (once or twice).

Enjoy your little guy cause they grow up too fast. I wish you all the best!

My son, 10.5 months, sleeps from 8pm to about 7am (give or take 15 mins either way) without waking up (about 99% of the time). When he does wake up, we do not change him or give him anything to drink or eat. I have read/heard that encourages the night waking, and I believe it. When he does wake, I go in (if he doesn't re-settle on his own) and put him back to sleep. During the day, he usually take two naps. One about 9:30am and one after lunch. One usually lasts for about 1hr and 15 mins and one usually is only 30-45 mins. It varies from day to day on which nap is the longer of the two. I don't really think two naps at that age is too much. As long as they aren't really long naps that interfere with sleeping at night. Hope this helps!

my daughter is just over 10 months...she sleeps from 7:30 at night to 8:00 in the morning...nap from 10 till 11...and another from 2 till 3. Obviously this varies a little every day but for the most part she sticks with it and it works for her and me...I tried to get her to take only one nap a day....let me tell you....LONG day!! lol...obviously my baby needs a lot of sleep...just like her daddy...lol...just do what works for the two of you.

She could be hungry. 4 oz.. would not look as though plenty for a 10 month old. perhaps you have spoken with your Dr. and that they are no longer in touch yet once you haven't any longer i could perhaps look at how plenty she is ingesting. i comprehend each and every baby is distinctive yet i could think of she ought to be at 6 oz.. by employing now a minimum of. If she is eating down the whole 4 oz.. bottle like that's not something then perhaps attempt giving her one extra ounce or 2 after & see if she eats that. The 4 oz.. could be sufficient to hold her over long sufficient that she will pass to sleep yet then she wakes up back almost immediately after to eat extra. If she is waiting for 6 oz.. or extra she will pass to mattress totally chuffed and it ought to help her to sleep longer. perhaps no longer each and each of how interior the path of the nighttime yet for longer stretches & then i'm effective something will stick to. you have already got a stable bedtime ordinary in place & it somewhat is super. Crying it out is likewise an option for some yet no longer ALL. My toddler all started slumbering interior the path of the nighttime only high quality. I on no account permit it cry it out. i did no longer rock her, or permit her pass to sleep in my palms each and all the time yet in specific situations I did. in general I only permit her comprehend that i could be there if she mandatory. i'm able to pay attention her awaken yet i do no longer continuously pass to her using fact a number of of the time she gets herself back to sleep. If she starts off crying, i will verify if she is hungry, gassy, chilly, warm, and so on. & if she isn't tuck her back in for the nighttime. do no longer permit absolutely everyone inform you which you probably did it incorrect or for you to do some thing, exceedingly in case you do no longer experience suitable approximately it. i wish each and every thing works out for you.
