we have been friends for a long time, and i know she loves me as a person and we are quite close. I love her cause of her quirks and her somewhat strange yet interesting habbits.... however today she acted differently....
I mentioned to her a few days earlier that i had feelings for her, Today - i asked her to meet me at the park - I was there - she was 15 minutes late, she came running and just ran and gave me this big hug and held on to me for a few seconds, then she took my hand and we started aimlessly walking and discussing strange and totaly random things....
I asked abt why she is so detached and why she has not gottten into a relation yet - she said - she's still healing and waiting for someone to get to that point where she knows that it may just be worth her time - she said she is waiting for something to hapen, and cant wait for love to happen again...
I was wondering what this means, as i did not uinderstand it.??
I want to be there? what do u think is happening?

she seems to care alot about u, but she has been hurt in the past, and wants to make sure she doesn't get hurt again. she is just taking it slow. she seems to think that love will just hurt her if she allows herself to feel it again.

She is afraid to ruin what you have.
She definitely has been hurt deeply and does not want to go rushing into a friends arms to find solace.
She loves you but is unsure how to proceed.
I think you should give her some time to adjust to the shock,
You probably caught her broadside with the comment I have feelings for you.
She is afraid to proceed, I think she likes it the way it is for now.
She will let you know in her own time if she feels the same.
You can't push this..you have to wait for her if you are interested.

She has just said that she is waiting for the right person to come into her life that will sweep her off her feet so you go buy her some flowers and start to impress her and make sure you put feelings into it because no one likes a fake person.That is if you want a relationship with her.

well if she was so adamant aboout meeting even though she was late was a good sign. obviously she has been hurt vry deeply and she wants to take things slow so she can be more certain of the guy than last time. She's probably hinting around to youso you can better get to know her and fulfill what it is that she is seeking

If it didn't work out with you two she would lose her best friend and that scares her. Take this slow and easy and she may come around but don't you dare break her heart. Good Luck....

I think if you have to ask such a question you are not ready for a relationship with her or anyone else.
