A couple things come to mind. First, TUNE-UP and also check your fuel pressure as it sounds like the fuel pump might be on its last leg.
Another cause could be the ICM. When the vehicle is cold it will start and when warm, it ceases. Reason being, the ICM has a fine wire inside the module that can break! When cold it is tight enough to start and run but when warm, it expands and you lose the electrical connection.
Outside of that without seeing the vehicle it could be pretty difficult. Could be a host of things such as burnt valve, timing chain worn, intake gasket, TBI rebuild, etc.

replace gas clear out then verify gas tension if low replace the gas pump and strainer.suited be for it cuts off have you ever seen the temp to work out how severe it gets?Is the verify engine gentle on?I even have an 88 and a ninety 4 so enable me recognize.
