I once accidentally put my car key in my house lock, and it started. So I drove it awhile.

Got pulled over for speeding. The cop asked me, "What's your home address?" I said, "I'm driving it".

That is so weird you asked that. I have. I had a 1987 Mustang. When I was a teen and several times it would start speeding up really fast for no reason. On time I was right behind a police offer on a hill and almost hit him cause the car wouldn't stop. The other time it was even scarier because I was at a lake out in the country that had really steep hill on both sides of a narrow winding road and it did it again. The last time it happened, It cause me to have a wreck and it totalled the car. I was okay, but years later I was on the Internet and found a recall for my car that the accelerators would sometimes stick for no reason....nice to know now. At least no one was ever hurt.

A few years ago when i was back home in Ireland i left Dublin in the early hours to drive back to where i was staying about 150 miles. The weird thing is i remember leaving Dublin and the next thing i knew i was at my parents house, 150 miles away. It really freaked me out, I honestly do not know what happened. But it seemed like i got into the car and suddenly as if by magic i was there.
I swear i am not making this up.

Well, no but I have seen a car driving perfectly well and the driving was bending down looking at something. I mean, the car stopped at a red light and went on green! It was really weird.

Too many times. It is scary to comtemplate what could happen when you are lost in your thoughts. Fortunately, my car has memorized the route to where I work. That automatic pilot feature that Honda provides really comes in handy. I just have to remember to keep it inflated.

I'll bet you wish YOUR car would drive itself!! Has it gotten fixed, yet?
And yes....I have done that quite a bit. My eyes are on the road,I haven't caused any accidents but my mind is on that ONE man...about 2 weeks ago I was thinking about him, (as is my wont) , wishing he'd pull behind me in traffic and that he would follow me.
FIVE SECONDS later there he was ,coming off a side street and pulled into my lane, right behind me!!....actually a stupid truck got between us. Anyway, I almost croaked,of course. Welllllllllll....I pulled into a parkinglot and so did he. He gave me a wee kiss and I swear I have no idea what jibberish came out of my mouth as we spoke.
Moral of the story.......I am going to stop praying for lofty, noble things and stick to the basics......less prayers about me accepting reality and being a good sport and more prayers about kisses in parkinglots!!
