Does anyone remember the name of the actress in Ali MacBee Show who played a midaged Judge nicknamed,"Viper"?

The show ran 19988/99 or sometime in the 2000s. It was a show set in a Law Office with Ali as one of the lawyers with a couple of senior partners and some junior lawyers and a gossipy front office receptionist.
I am going out with a woman who looks like 'viper' and I am trying to tell her who she looks like. Simmilar face and same hairstyle!

Was it Dyan Cannon? I think her nickname was Whipper though. Google images of Dyan Cannon. Hope that's her.
