Texas is probably the strongest 4 seed in the tournament, and I think they have a great chance to beat a very young North Carolina team. Unfortunately if they get past UNC they will most likely face Georgetown and the Hoyas have been unbelievable in their last 16 games winning 15 of them with 4 of the wins against top 20 teams, crushing Pitt in the Big East championship game. I don't see them beating Georgetown even if they manage to get past the Tar Heels.

Texas can beat UNC any day, as long as Durant and Augustin are on, they are one of the toughest teams in the nation, Durant has yet to be stopped and I don't know a player on UNC that can gaurd Durant and shut him out, if these two teams meet in the sweet sixteen, look for Durant and his Longhorns to upset the poor UNC Tar Heels

despite Congress makes a decision or does not come to a decision, any law it tries to bypass would be rendered moot. The mere attempt via legislators isn't something extra effective than political grandstanding. it rather is such as you asserting you're against international warming. particular, you're against it, yet you won't have the ability to make it substitute one way or yet another. enable's say one among these bill does bypass Congress. each and every of the NCAA might might desire to do at that factor is sue interior the legislative branch and there the thought will die. Congress might attempt to argue that the BCS is a living, respiration violation of latest anti-believe law yet in actual actuality there is not any violation no count number how all of us might attempt to spin the argument. inspite of the incontrovertible fact that distant the possibility could be, each and every FBS team theoretically has a gamble to play for the identify. subsequently, no anti-believe rules have been violated. And on proper of that, there's no longer something to end any FBS team from dropping all the way down to the FCS point the place playoffs are in result. lower back, no anti-believe violation. it is not that i'm against a playoff however the economic actuality of the area is that the present bowl equipment with out any doubt by any ability generates extra gross revenues than any 8 or sixteen team playoff format ever might desire to.

definetly, Durant is the best college freshman I have probably ever seen, that point guard they have is tough too. If their coach had taught them how to play defense this year they would have ran away with the Big 12. They could be poised to make a run much like Syracuse did during Carmelo Anthony's freshman year. I am from IN, so we hear a lot about Greg oden(who I think is entirely overrated), I watched him as a high school player and heard all this hype about him. The thing about that was, he wasn't a dominate player even in H.S. . He didnt average 40pts. and 20reb. with 10blks. a game, or anything close to that. and he was a 7 footer going up against kids who were 6-5, 6-6 trying to guard him.
Kevin Durant is better now, than Greg Oden will ever become. And if he can take his game to the next level in the tourney, their future is bright.

Do I think they have a chance? Absolutely.
Do I think they'll beat North Carolina? No.
It comes down to this. In games against big teams like this, the Longhorns keep coming up just short of the win (IE: Kansas game). Plus, Texas only has Kevin Durant and AJ Abrams behind them, while the Heels have a slew of players.
It wouldn't surprise me, but I wouldn't say that it's likely.

they just need to worry about unc and g.town those are the hardest teams in the region and if they get past unc it is g.town most likely being their opponent and the winner is in the final four so if they get past those two teams they are in good shape with a great boost of confidence
