Because I like bananas, but I hate food with banana flavouring.

That's quite common. I don't mind bananas but I like coconut and peanuts but I don't like food flavoured with coconut or peanuts!

i am partial to banana flavoured ice cream, but i am not a fan of banana flavoured milk shake. though i still love the fruit, as it's the real thing

I hate banana flavored things! I don't really even like my real bananas to taste too banana-ish, thats why I go for the slightly green ones.

i prefer banana flavour to real bananas.if i eat a banana it has to be under ripe,i hate when it's got brown on it, yuk.

Well, the only banana flavored food that I like is the banana flavored laffy taffy. Other than that, I'm with you on just liking bananas themselves.
