Why does anyone feel the need to lump all liberals in with the left wing, conservatives aren't all right wing neocons, and anyone who does not understand this has no business even discussing politics. Furthermore, all conspiracy theorists are not liberal, for I have heard a self proclaimed conservative attempt to incite a panic over the number of visible jet contrails in the sky. He tried to claim we were under attack, possibly being "sprayed" with something. As a intelligent person though, I know not to base my opinions of all conservatives on this one nut job. Personally, I can not classify myself as a true liberal, but I do take the liberal view on more issues than I do the conservative view.

I have never associated the 911 conspiracy nuts with a liberal or conservative position. I have always just though it was the product of disillusioned minds who just have such a distrust of the government that no amount of factual evidence evidence will convince them to the contrary. The reality is that there are actually very few true liberals or conservatives. Most people exist in a moderate middle ground which is either slightly left or right of center. However, it is all too easy to adopt a partisan mindset and classify all who might disagree with a particular position as part of the opposition set. Partisan rhetoric is a useless tool which serves only to cloud true debate on relevant issues.

I've heard some interesting, some crazy, and some just plain weird conspiracy theories before but....
lately I've keep hearing this conspiracy theory about President Bush that he was behind the 9/11 attacks
so that he would have an excuse to invade Afganistan.
So my question is.... does anyone actually believe this C+ college student, who has difficulty pronouncing
every 5th word, somehow engineered the crime of the century, and in addition to that got at least 10-20
other like minded conservative religious republicans people to go along with it , killing 3,000+ Americans,
cost his own country hundreds of Billions, all so he would have an excuse to invade a country that has
absolutely nothing (not even oil), but dirt and a bunch of poor muslims? (Afganistan) .
And in addition to above, he did it so well that the only evidence of it is a bunch of VERY shaky,
usually proven false coincidences?
Now really, does this make any sense what-so-ever?
I agree with you, of course, and I'm a " Liberal"

Only the paranoid lewixes (left wing extremists) promote this insanity which is so crazy as to approach pananoia. I myself would worry much about any person around me who was obsessed with this nonsense like some of the poor persons on this web site seem to be. I think they need professional help. Thank heaven there are only a few who suffer from this persistent delusion.

I doubt that there are very few conservatives that have even heard the conspiracy theories concerning 9/11. So I also doubt they think libs believe in them.

No, I don't beleive that at all. That's because I know that there are some smart liberals who actually look beyond what the conspiracy theories tell us.

They must since they go on over the subject more than the nut cases do. I agree with your theory about them using the topic to stir up more terror theories to discredit the Democrats and with smoke and mirrors use the words, Bush is saving us from terrorist.....lol
