By paper do you mean that you can use the programming software to wire and compile source code, AND can simulate the codes operation on the PC?

Other than having a communication issue which would be immeadiately evident. It is possible to have a fuse or configuration bit setting issue. Many uC have a section of bits which allow the user to define what type of clock will be connected.

It is possible that you are expecting to use an internal RC clock but fuse settings have been set for an external clock.
Once the program is downloaded the uC looks for a nonexistant clock signal and enters a Catch-22 situation. (No clock = No Work)

After checking this is not an issue make shure you have a valid clock signal on the proper pins.

Dude there is a lot of Difference between theory and practicals. So don't waste time on the forums trying to find how i can get that working on the 8085 uP on the Labs cause you are again going for theories. Your best option would be spend time in LAB and get practical.

Follow logically and it will work .Don't hesitate to ask someone if you don't know something there as that would be more helpful than asking it here.
