Does a program exist that basically stores a folder in an executable so that people can't access the folders inside? I want to protect my source for a project I am building. The executable requires access to all the folders from its directory. Can anyone help me? (And DON'T ANSWER 'No there isn't." Please))

Winzip self executable. In winzip, click Actions and Make exe file. Then it will become a self-extracting executable file.

An Executable identifes itself as a Self-Executing program and the operating System allocates it memory and CPU to execute. Folders are nothing but logical storage locations which are like Cabinets. Why do want to make the folders into an executable ? If you want to protect your files in the folder from being viewed directly and seen then I suggest you use a encryption algorithms on your files which can be viewed by you when used with a password.

you can use winzip or winrar to archive and password any file or folder you can even use them to produce an executable so you can access the file within on a computer without winzip or winrar being installed
Your best bet is winrar it's more versatile than winzip get it here http://www.download.com/WinRAR/3000-2250-10007677.html

No there isn't. Just kidding. :)

You want encryption, not compression. Look at pgp or other free/low cost solutions.
