There was a Texan and an Australian in a bar, bragging at each other. The Texan said "I can get on my horse and ride all the sunlight hours, and I'll still not reach the other boundary of my ranch".The bushman looked at him sideways, took a sip of his beer, looked into the distance and quietly said "Yeah. I had a horse like that once".

Because most people think their "Home" is the best. Isn't it great to be able to claim YOUR "Home" as "The Best"? I have to agree with you that Texas is a Great state but,.....I'm a bordering neighbor and I think Oklahoma is a Great state too.
You know,...producers of 1/3 of US's domestic oil, booming economy, Brick Town, OU Sooners ( Hook em horn's), water, and so on.

P.S. Myself.....Stevenville, Texas, what a great lil' city.

Probably because Texas isn't best.......
The truth is everyone thinks the state they live in is the best. I don't think any state is better than the other.
