I can't believe that.
I think probably something bad happened to him in his past that makes him like that. Maybe he is still a virgin ( hahaha ) or his wife died.
My mum's mother died four months ago and she's been a b*tch to me since then.

Sometimes you can't choose your neighbours (same with family). Leave this man be to his own sorry existence and never let yourself be lowered to his level of rudeness and lack of consderation.
Count your lucky stars that he doesn't make a lot of noise, and I hope that his home is not surrounded by rubbish, dumped cars, etc. Think of the people that ended up with the chav that won the lottery as a neighbour and turned his back garden into a demolition derby!
There nearly always is someone worse than you! We have fortunately moved away from a neighbour that had a different girl round every night and liked to show them all a good time! A tad embarrarssing when the other neighbour's 7 yr old son is asking "what's that man doing to that lady on the lawn!!" this was 3pm on a Sunday.

Be thank full that you do not have ,anti -social neighbour,s. With loud music, noise in general, insulting behaviour, and damaging your property, and even breaking into your home. That happens a lot. May be the guy just don,t know how to communicate, and keeps himself to himself. I think if you show a little friendly manner to him , he may open up and become an o.k. neighbour.

Oh!!!
Pure u girl!!!!
He is a b*********.
When i was at Uni in London, we had a neighbour like this. Our problem was that he has throwing staff to us and to our friends, if a friend wanted to came to our house he /she was phoning us 2 min, before arrives to the house so we can be in the door to open it really fast, because, he was throwing brick to them, and cheesing everyone with a hammer.
He even broke the car from a friend of our with that hammer.
We record him many times out side our door trying to destroy it with this hammer, and chasing us around that car that in the end he totally destroyed.
We phoned the police, and we gave them the tapes.
After some months we went to the Cort.
He went 3 years in Gail.
The b*******.
We where 1 year living in hell.
We where very scared to move or ever go out !!!

I'm sorry Poopsy, but you might have taken this man in the wrong context....What if this man suffers from fear of the out side...maybe really shy....maybe a grudge against the world......There must be something wrong with him to be like he is.....At least he tried to talk to you over the garden, maybe that was really hard for him...Why didn't you try to hold a conversation with him..then maybe he might have come out of his shell a little bit....Please don't judge someone until you know all the answers....

At least you were never groped by him. That's what one of my neighbours tried to do to me a few years back; but I slapped the old bastred.
And someone up the road has an old matress in their garden which has been there for a week!

He does sound ignorant, but better that than some of those neighbours from hell... Thank your lucky stars that if he is that bad, at least you never see him.
Some people have terrible times with noise, abuse, victimisation.... so, no, I don't think you're living next to the worst neighbour in Britain.

You want to be grateful at least that he's keeping himself to himself. I would prefer that than a family from hell who bully the neighbours - vandalise property, argue in the street at all hours not to mention car racing and handbrake turns at 3 in the morning.
Ignorant he is but that is better than abusive, surely??

Oh, for neighbours that keep themselves to themselves! I know that it's not nice. It would be great if you could get along.
Does he listen to loud dance music at 3:00am?
Does he let his dog leave presents on your lawn?
Does he threaten to cut your throat, if you phone the police again?
Does he hammer on the walls for no reason, other than just to wind you up?
It could be worse. He sounds like a jerk. But, I'd sooner have a quiet jerk than a noisy, violent, moron.

Pardon me for saying so, but you had your chance to make friends with this man when he talked to you and you were the rude one. I'm not saying he isn't rude. You stated that he is, but if you want him to crawl on his knees to you for being rude your just kidding yourself. He gave you the chance to befriend him and you spit in his face. Think about it and go over and tell him your sorry for your intolerance toward his question. You have to live next to each other so try very hard to get along with him. God Bless...
