Let's put it this way...
if I were your employer and I wanted to ensure my workplace and employees were drug-free and I asked for blood or urine samples for testing and you refused or in any way declined and demanded a court order before offering your sample, I would have you on the short list to be laid off at the next cut if I couldn't fire you right on the spot for your refusal or my suspicion that you're on some kind of illegal drug.
Why show relunctance? unless you have something to hide.

They may not be able to force you to produce a sample, but if it was a condition of employment, they would have the option to no longer employ you if you don't live up to your end of the contract.

Generally Drug tesiting is done with Urine and or Hair samples Blood is a rarity....

Any time they choose. A lot of companies do random drug testing. We never know when it is 'our' day.
