We are in a population crisis and there is very little left in state pension funds. Are illicit drugs a form of population control due to earlier death and problems with fertility? Post sept 11 the british government bought the opium fields from afghan farmers to cease supply and yet street heroin has doubled since.....and what about the obesity crisis too? Our children are eating more saturated fats than ever reducing life expectancy to 53 years thus reducing the pensions crisis if someone dies before retirement after almost 40 years of productive working. I wonder.....and before you all start i'm not crazy I just have an active imagination.

If the government want people to lead healthier lifestyles they shouls subsidise healthier food in areas of high deprivation. i support a 30 year old gentleman who thought carrots were tinned. He didn't even know that they could be bought fresh. Yes he is from a highly deprived and poor educated area. Come on government sort it...

Keep them coming there are some really valid points here!
I agree with one of you guys saying it is bad parenting but i think there should be a subsidy for those who cant afford 5 a day, meat and fish etc or possibly some scheme where less well off parents can exchange vouchers for such consumables. At the end of the day the youth community are the society of the future. Will they be fit enough (physically and mentally to make an informed decision on their lives and futures if they know no other?

All I have to say is Big Brother is already with us with the amount of information the government keeps on all of us. With the introduction of keeping dna swabs by the police on everyone arrested or who take part in illimination surveys. It won't be long for the police state to arrive then you will see what the government will do. Your thoughts will be monitored and if you have an evil thought you will be arrested.

Makes a good plot for a sci-fi story, but look around folks, your day to day activities are being monitored.

I also have a vivid imagination and you do pose a very good question.

I don't really think we are controlled yet..... But in the future, I seriously hope not :)

Firstly - the Economy is the worlds biggest and only true conspiracy. Everyone is directly affected and governed by it: it is the perpetual and undeniable human desire to want shiny things that Governs us, not Government - if the people really wanted to, they could overthrow their government, and as a Government is supposed to represent the people - if a government is overthrown by the majority - the action of overthrowing the Government would be an action of TRUE democracy.

Drugs: If people are stupid enough to want to take drugs they should be allowed to, on the basis they are denied NHS health-care.

FAT-KIDS: The Government is not making children Obese.
In an age where more information about diet and nutrition is known, than ever before, it is odd that we have an increasing population of FB's (fat bast's).
The real cause is "bad parenting" caused by pathetic retarded individuals who should not have kids having kids...

The problem is Governments can only govern when there is a Status Quo - if things change to much (i.e. average population age increase), then the economy will not be able to cope, and it will eventually die.

Although sounding ominous and horrific, this does not mean that people will starve to death due to a lack of food or resources, it just means that one day we will out grow our need for Money, either by choice, or by necessity for survival...

God's involvement in people' lives is extremely uncommon. God can not watch each and every individual on the comparable time. it quite is why He had created the spirits to observe, handbook and make certain the way forward for the people from their daily activities, talks and ideas too. God has given freewill to all creatures which comprise people. in accordance to this a individual can choose any sort of existence he/she prefers. yet whilst it is undesirable he or she could face the implications. it is organic. A individual is in basic terms a robotic created from distinctive components (flesh, bones, tissues, and so on.,) and a toy of the spirits for his or her video games. A individual owns no longer something different than a actual physique and the concepts is like laptop's concepts. What occurs to the concepts of a working laptop or laptop whilst each and every thing of an demanding-disk is erased? the comparable ingredient occurs to individual. Even concepts are actually not our very own. information, emotions, hobbies and each thing stay with a individual in the type of spirits or invisible components and quits as quickly because of the fact the physique stops it is function.

frst of all i say that our lives is not controlled and destined by government but we are the people who control ourselves by creating hte government.....
I do think you raise an interesting question, and there's nothing wrong with having a good imagination...
I'd love to know, though, why it is that so many people are convinced that governments are great at developing watertight, amazing conspiracy plots, considering that ruling regime can rarely do anything else particularly well.

The "governments" knows where all the drugs are coming from. they therefore use it to their advantage, using it to fund overthrowing governments and also to put people into privatized prisons.

The government has nothing to do with it. People have always done wrong, always abused their bodies, always engaged in activity that will make some onlooker angry or incredulous.

No. Illicit drugs are bought thanks to the stupidity, greed, and illness of individuals.

Obesity is not the fault of the government. It is the weakness and laziness of individuals.

You should get out and exercise some muscles. Let your fingers open the pages of some books and periodicals.
