well khulith i will tell you what are positive and negative aspects of chatting
well coming first to positive aspects of chatting:
a) you can make make new frnds online
b) you can talk to many of your frnds who are at distance
c) you can also enjoy with your frnds even in their absence (ofcourse ur frnd will be online thjen)
so u don't feel that u have missed ur frnd
coming to the negative aspects:
a) you become addicted to chattingonce you start chatting with ur frnds daily

you spend there your free time
connects you to the peolple whose far away from you
especially to your friends or loved ones...
negatives are:
you can get addicted!
forget your responsibilities
lost time for your self, family and friends!
