I am a Harry Potter fan of both the books and the movies. (no surprise!) I mean, the books are really a masterpiece and the magic keeps me spellbound. As for the movies, they are good too. But I have become a Harry Potter addict. R u a HP fan or not? In either case, please state the reason for attraction or repulsion.

I love the Potter book, I have pre-ordered the last book and I can't wait to read it! I am excited everyday and my husband thinks I'm crazy. I go to jkrowlings website everyday and I also check out the New York Post Websites Quibbler. I don't know why I like them they are just really good characters that I've been reading and getting attached to for a decade I guess.

I am a fan of Harry Potter books are a real-page turner. I am astonished at how well J.K. Rowling can write. The movies are really good. I think people get more mad that the movies missed things than actually enjoying it though. Even though, they do cut out things, if they put all the stuff from the book, we'd be sitting there for a good five hours or less. So, what they have done so far in the movies, is amazing and almost lifelike. I have a problem sometimes seeing the difference from real and fantasy in the movies. Okay, I've said enough. I could keep going on and on. But, I won't put you in that torture.

I'm so obessed with Harry Potter that I made a speech in my class about it. Everyone in my class was talking about Politics and all that crap while I chose to state the values encrypted in the book's plot.

I read fanfictions, I make fanfictions and I have a DVD collection of the Harry Potter movies! I've read the books a million times (Slight exageration here..hehe) and I memorized the prrofiles of the characters, some of their lines and the spells too! Hahhaha

I'm ABSOLUTELY addicted!! At first I was skeptical about reading them. I thought it was just another kids book. Once I started reading though, I couldn't put the book down. I felt like I was actually part of that world and everything around me faded away. When I would reach the end of the book my world would come crashing through and I would remember that I was a muggle!! It was almost disappointing. I can't tell you how many times I have re-read the books. I even have a little Hedwig sitting on my pillow. I love the magic, but I also like how J.K takes ordinary things in "our" world and converts them to magic. Like the subjects they study for example. History = History of Magic, Science/Chemistry = Potions, Social Studies = Muggle Studies etc. Her imagination is formidible!! How does one come up with such a fascinating place? BRILLIANT!! I also loved the movies. They didn't annoy me for leaving things out. I'm realistic when it comes to working that out. I just loved seeing the characters come to life. I'm a Harry Potter Fan through and through!! (but Hagrid is my favourite!)

I am a Harry Potter fan, of the books, but not the movies. The movies are OK, but compared to the books, they suck.

i LOVE the whole harry potter thing, and i'm wondering what ever i will do with my life once book 7 has come and gone - lol! when i first started reading it, i was like "oh this is kid stuff," but i kept reading b/c quite a few of my friends in grad school were into it. what got me hooked is j.k. rowling's amazing writing style. when i read her books, i feel like i'm actually in that world! it's a feeling that takes me back to my childhood; as a child, i wanted to be a writer, and could easily spend hours just daydreaming and writing.

i like harry potter stuff but the magic is.. in writing terms "easy magic" wave a stick and poof. I've been a fan of A D and D for years and harry potters fun, tongue in cheek magic. i just hope that she does'nt kill him or his freinds.. its been a nice ride.
