I'm interested in breeding Mollies, I've researched it and it seems fairly easy, I'm just waiting until after spring break to start. My only question is: What is the smallest size tank I can get away with will breeding them?

You can breed them in a 10 gallon, but you will certainly want at least a 20 gallon to raise the babies. The more space the better as they grow. If you are getting a new tank for this, I would suggest a 30 gallon, but a 20 gallon long style would be ok too.

If you are going to start to breeding Mollies then I would have a 20 gallon tank as a starter.When you get the tank please do not put the Mollies in untill at least 2 weeks.Put Zebras in for they are a sturdy fish and they will help in getting the tank ready for other fish.The Zebras will not eat the babys as long as there is plenty of cover for them.Please wait untill the tank is 2 weeks old before you add the Mollies.
