Are you disgusted?
Are you please?
Do you think they should go and exercise?
Do you think they should do what they want?

From an entirely personal view, I think they (unless it is medical) show that they have very little self control. Plus that it is a sign of weakness like getting drunk alot or smoking.

However, I want other opinions. As I may be wrong.

People who brandish stereotypes like swords disgust me.

You showed no self control in hitting the enter key on this question so .. I guess that puts you in the same pool.

If you are disgusted by fat people, or smokers, or drunks.. you are free at any time to gouge out your own eyes.

Everyone has weaknesses.
To each their own and fat is one thing, like being a bit chunky or thick, but do you mean fat or obese?
Obesity isn't just a physical disease. If it were, all the obese people would get over it, lose the weight, and we'd all wear size 0 dresses. The weight loss industry would go bankrupt. Obesity is a psychological disease.
Overeating disorder is an eating disorder, just like anorexia and bulumia and deserves the same attention as the others. It is perhaps the most common yet most undiagnosed eating disorder because many people just think of them as fat, the fat is a by product of a bigger issue, just like drinking, and people who drink in excess, people who starve, people who cut. The weight and the hangovers and the scars are just symptoms. Not causes and until people realise that (including the people who suffer) nothing will ever change.

Being fat is not a sign of any weakness and not all fats are smokers and drinkers.
A lot of overweight people tried exercise or dieting but failed, not because they are lazy or have very little self control, but because it's just the way it is. Fat stays in the body.
There are medical ways suggested to reduce weights but not all can afford it.
So, it may be helpful if you will look at them without showing your disgust on their looks.

I am not gisgusted by the fat people. fat people are normally kind hearted people and normally cool. But they have many physical problems like blood pressure, etc. Controlling the pleasure seeking activity of the toungue is the first step. Control the tongue while eating. Eat little and drink lots of water, atleast three litres a day. Exercising not just enough. Practise SURYANAMASKAR daily. It trims the body. I have my own experience. EVEN IF YOU DON'T EAT FULL DAY IS NO PROBLEm, BUT DO SURYANAMASKAR> LEARN this Yogic Exercise which illuminates your left brain. Then can you miss that in any day. Learn from a right person and do it with full awreness of the breathing and body and the nature and the space. You can reduce the fat in to half with in six months or one year. But This SURYANAMASKAR shoul be your daily routine till the end of your life. because you can miss food, but not Suryanamaskar ! Do it or suggest to fat people and let me know !

I have horrible anxiety around people with weight problems who are overweight and underweight...I have been on both sides.

-I have Crohn's Disease and looked Anorexic at age 14, before surgery.
-I gained weight very quickly, on purpose, because I worried about how people looked at me and what they thought of me.
-I grew up listening to my father's loud comments of obese people: family and strangers. It still sickens me to no end. I know he's this way, only because as a child he was overweight. But he's not perfect, himself. This is a main reason of why I can't get over my hating him so much.
-I was overweight (imo) for the past two years, most of it was from emotional issues.
-I lost this excess weight (10+) consciously for a while, almost gave up, then became surprised of how well exercise worked for me...and stress of A.D.D. and starting college.
-I am still very insecure of how I look, even though I am no longer (and was never more than) 10-20 pounds overweight.

Ok, First I need to say that anyone who finds pleasure in poking fun at anyone, is ignorant, and just blatantly rude. I have studied Fitness and Nutrition, getting my certificate.
I find it very beneficial to myself and society to keep myself healthy. You wonder what I mean by beneficial to society?
We all know that insurance rates are awful, many people go without for that reason, many companies do not offer insurance any longer because of that reason. Being overweight contributes to many diseases if not causing them.
If you are overweight and do not take care of yourself, chances are very good that you are going to develop one of these weight related illnesses. If you have no insurance, or even if you do, its going to be costly. Bottom line, the more sick people the higher the insurance and health costs rise.

It is cheaper to do what you can to stay healthy, eat right and exercise.

to some extent, it is genetic... it is biologically set in our genes that we are the size we are due to metabolic processes and "set point". but those who are grossly overweight that are constantly featured in talk shows like Dr. Phil, need to get a move on in order for them to lead healthier lives. Americans especially enjoy the convenience of prepackaged and fast foods because they are cheap, tasty and quick to prepare. Self control is difficult to assess in any given situation but should be enforced to maintain health.

i'm a bit hefty myself but i have set up an exercise criteria that hopefully will work with some time.

Wow there's really a lot of prejudice against fat people. I, myself, am overweight. I'm not "circus fat" but I am conscious that I am overweight. I have insulin resistance and it's hard to lose weight. BUT I try to take care of myself. I exercise, try to make the right decisions when eating, and keep a positive frame of mind. Some of us struggle more than others but that's no reason to assume you are better than the rest of us.

Some of my best friends are fat people. Just not the ones that I go to the gym with. I think fat people are great, every family should have one.

You're wrong for using the word "fat"
And you're not as considerate as you think you might be...
And you have no regard for some people who have no control over their weight problem...
Seems to me you have more problems than they do...
AND I TRULY BEILIEVE YOU THOUGHT OF ALL THAT WITHOUT ANY HELP
