This was the best soap ever! Bring back the Corkhills, Harry Cross and Ralph, the Rogers, the Grants etc. What were some of the other characters in it in the 80s?

Wow - I loved Brookside. Terry and Sinbad along with Barry being the naughty boys were ones I remember, along with the people you say and Damon and Debbie (and the week long spin off where he was stabbed). I was sad when Brookside stopped although the story lines got really silly. I guess Phil Redmond wanted to move on to other things (like Hollyoaks were they actually use some of the internal house rooms from Brookside!)

Barry Grant was lovely and so was Greg Shadwick!
Brookside was defo the best soap!

I can never watch anything that that has the actor from the siege in it...gives me the creeps every time....I'm sure he is a very pleasant person in real life, but he was so convincing in Brookside...

I thought that Simon the nutter who ran a cult was kinda funny.
If I remember right, he had Terry enthralled and even almost did away with Barry Grant!

Someone once said in a loud squeaky Liverpool accent "GREEN PAINT" that is all I can remember from Brookside.
