Does anyone but me think American Idol is fixed? Sanjaya is still there who obviously can not sing and Brandon was kicked off who could sing. I know they think Sanjaya is cute but this is a singing competition as Simon says and he can not sing!!!

They are encouraging people to vote for the worst, Sanjaya. They have gotten many idols pretty far in the competition. Taylor Hicks was one their list last season. He won! I hate what this website is doing. Sanjaya is very sweet and I think that if this site keeps him on American Idol, they will really hurt him emotionally.
I think it is fixed in a way. I feel they choose the top 24 based on popularity. Sanjaya and Antonella were popular. It is a singing competition not a popularity contest!

No, American Idol is not fixed. Brandon himself said he messed up and forgot the words part way thru the song on Tuesday night. And he kind of expected this. As for Sanjaya, he obviously is still there because of his popularity with the girls. I agree he is not a very good singer. Never fear, he will be eliminated eventually.

I agree with you and I have no idea why Sanjaya is still there!! I was in complete shock last night! I also think that Sanjaya looks like another Michael Jackson, even talks real quiet! I hope next week is better!

Sanjaya is being kept on by the 12-14 year olds who are in love with him. I wish that he had been kicked off instead of Brandona!

Sanjaya is a perfect example of the 12 year old following. Also it makes us aware of the Indian population here in the USA. (And I thought they all worked for DELL customer service).

NO JOKE! This is crazy! It totally reminds me of the whole ACE thing from last year. I bet if we blindfolded those Sanjaya lovers and only made them listen to the song ONLY, without telling them who was who. They sure wouldn't vote for his performance! They need to listen without being blinded by lust and hypnotized by "the hair do." The HAIR is not luck...it's a curse...it gives young girls subliminal messages to vote for him....(HA Ha ha)

People get to vote so I don't think it's fixed. I think the only true judge is Simon. He made millions marketing talent that sells CD's and that's the object of the show. Paula is a has been who plays nice-nice all the time and why Randy is up there just baffles me.

I heard from my dad it is fixed. That they choose who gets to stay or go. Even though, the people can vote. There's no way they can count alll those votes in one night. If that was possible, the president election votes would be done in an hour.

Im not a fan of the show but my husband is and so I watch it and I think it is crap big deal the kid forgot the words he still sings better than the other kid.

He can't sing at all. Even worse was watching him try to do the Hula last week. So we got to see another thing he can't do also.
