Is gold really considered that bad for men? To highlight this -- In one of the episodes in friends Chandler will have a bad time wearing a Gold bracelet given by Joe.... :-) :-)

Good that many replied... I too didnt have any impressions that the bracelet is kind of Gay quality until.. in the same episode chandler says it as a women repellent.

Not bad at all. Fashionably, maybe not appropriate in certain situations. But also it is determined on what kind of lifestyle they live, like many artists and people in creative fields are more open with their appearance and accessories.

And also it depends on the gold bracelet. Some actually would look really nice. And some might look out of place or tacky.

With everything you wear, it just depends on the person and how they feel wearing it.

It's not an implication of homosexuality as far as I know, I think it's just that those particular bracelets were so unequivocally HORRIBLE that no woman would ever date a man that chose to wear one.

According to experts in the field of "Men". Men should limit themselves to a watch, a wedding band (if applicable) and perhaps a religious "necklace"...if absolutely necessary. All other jewelry on a man is superfluous. Being gay or straight is irrelevant.
