Why are people protesting against Severn Trent's involvement in Nepal's water?

"a) People in Nepal are against any form of privatisation of drinking water supply services and they are definitely against any such multinational companies to take over Nepal's drinking water supply;

b) There are alternatives for public water management and even the existing Nepal Water Supply Corporation (NWSC) has been saying in public that they have not been given any chance for reform and perform with autonomy from the government and they have all the will and capacity to manage Kathmandu water."
