Programs are written in a Computer Language. there are many and you can use any of those to create a Game like C,C++,Java etc. most powerful would be c++ or Visual C++ as they are at low level API. Java gives the freedom of hardware independence and hence could be used.
What is more important is the way Games are Created or Strategies are made into a programming model and Applied. For this i think you should refer to the Book named Gaming Theory or Game Theory. I don't remember the exact name but a google should get that one for you. Good luck.

Ultimately, they use a compiler for some language, mostly C / C++. They also write tools in some language (C / C++ again, or even C# and Java). Many of the components are pre-built middleware packages for sound, physics, rendering, networking, etc...

its called java and its not images but numbers instead you see computer interpret things in numbers you can even make up your own with a java console
