Im 21 years old and me and my husband have been TTC, i have PCOS but i still have a good ovary, which was on its cycle last month in feb. Feb 5th - 7th was my last period and my next period should have came around March 5th. For over a week now i have been having extreme hunger and nausea if i dont eat or it may just be nausea its hard to tell the difference sometimes, my breasts have been sooo sore and aching I have little bumps around and on my nipple, and i have also been having hot flashes when i keep my house very comfortable, are hot flashes normal for pregnancy?. I took 2 dollar tree tests about 5 or 6 days ago and they were negative, but i still feel like something is going on. My doctor dosent give blood tests unless its really important so im not able to get one or i would have, This would be our second child. The first i was so sick the little pains went unnoticed. Only serious opinions or advice Please!! THanks

I would go to the er and ask for a blood test since your doctor dosen't seem to care. You will get the results back within 45 minutes if you go to the er.

This might sound like a stupid question but are you in South Africa? If so, you can go to Bouwer and Partners Labs at any Netcare hospital and have the bloods done yourself. I tested about a year ago myself and it was about R 70.00 for the test and result within an hour. They test the hCG level in your blood. Give it a try, but def. do test sounds like you might have hit it lucky!

First of all get a different doctor! If you request a pregnancy test they can not deny you. Secondly, in the meantime go to a planned parenthood place and ask for the test there and explain that your doctor won't give blood tests unless he thinks it is important. Good luck! (and please please get a new doctor and report this one, that is just ridiculous).
