It will die. Sharks breathe through their gills and spiracles. And they do get water only by moving continuously. If they would stop and be in still water, probably for a long time, they will die due to lack of oxygen.

nothing. Most sharks do need to keep moving (or keep water moving) over their gills, but if they are moving, it doesn't matter if the water is still or not. There are however a few species that actually can control their gill movement and can remain still even in still water.
