Clomid question... I am full of them since this is my first cycle!?

Question

So I read from an answer that clomid can cause elevated temps for BBT on r after the 3 rd day.... What could be the cause of a tempto be higher after only 1 dose of clomid?

I took it yesterday (Wed 14th) and today is (Thurs 15th) and my temp is a whole degree higher!!

I am also on my first round of clomid after TTC for 21/2 years. When you are on a hormone like that your temps will not be reliable. The best tracking whie on clomid is for your doctor to perform an ultrasound and blood test to see if you are ovulating. My doctor even suggested an ovulation predictor kit. But u/s and b/t are the best way. My charting has been irregular too and i have a blood work up etc on monday.

It really means nothing. It is typical to see a temp increase about the thrird day of clomid but anytime you take it it is possible it will make your temp increase slightly. It is possible you are getting sick. A higher than usual temp is usually my first sign that I am getting sick, but I hope that's not the case.
