I have no reason not to trust him, but I will watch him very carefully. I have no problem with ambition. One can be ambitious and still be honest.

Of course he's ambitious -- he's running for President.
You should never trust anyone you don't personally know too much, especially if they are a politician. You can trust that they will hold to their word (that's how a lot of people vote for President). I don't think there's anything "up" with him... he's just different. He's younger, ad grew up in a different generation than most of the other Presidential candidates in this generation. Most of the rest of the field was either in college during or served in Vietnam. He was in Junior High.
All in all, each candidate is different. I personally like Obama, and I may vote for him. Others may think he's not the right guy for the job, many more aren't sure yet. But that's the great think about living in a free society... we can each support a different person.

Trust him more than this present .....adminstration. Disconnected? In what way? He's "not from the streets"? I say good for that. Ever watch The First 48 Hours on A and E?
The people from the "streets" are definately not rocket scientists so why should ANYONE think that you have to come from the streets for political office? Seems self destructive to me. And not much different than the racist cr

The idea of a first term senator with as little practical experience as Obama running for President is ludicrous. What can he be thinking?
If he had gone to work for the people, worked on some legislation, and learned how things get done I would have looked at him seriously in 2012 or 2016, when he would be ready. Now I am questioning his motives or his judgement.

As with any politician, they're ALL ambitious. Although I wonder if he compares to Hillary Clinton in that respect. I doubt it.
I am certainly no liberal. I don't trust Obama at all. And it has nothing whatsoever to do with race. If there were a black conservative who had some moral fiber, I would certainly place my vote in his box. I pray someday we will have one.
Best wishes.

They have a token black and token female for the Democrats to rally behind. They could find some puppet white guy and steamroll the Repubs this time, so I don't know why the Dems are juggling fire. Neither Obama or Rodham Clinton is the answer for this country, that's for SURE.

I live in IL. and let me tell you that he did not keep his promises, he is just like the rest of those so caller leaders, he has no guts to stand up for what he says needs fixed and is just a follower not a leader. Obama get back to work your state needs you, your campaign started a year to early.

I feel he is far too inexperienced to run a country. It also seems like he is a little too "packaged", too planned. Goes back to the old saying I guess, "if it seems too good to be true then it probably is".
