My name is how I'm known
It's all I've known as I've grown
Call me anything else, it's not the same
Humans have always known their name
A rose could still be sweet, as Will says
Even if it was told it was now egalandays
Leave me with Michael it's mine always

Michael runs down the side, just a suggestion though...

Ok, first of all you need to know this - poems don't need to rhyme! If your teacher allows it, write a free verse poem (meaning, without rhyme). It's a lot easier and more inspiring to do so. Here are a few ideas to get you going. Do something with...

- your experiences
- how you were named
- your feelings about your name
- the things that made you who you are today

Good luck with your poem! I know what it's like, since I've had to write one 'bout my name for school, too.

There is a young fellow named Michael
Having difficulty with his bi-cychael
The front wheel isn't round
and it won't touch the ground
so he's thrown the thing in the re-cychael

Well, try a poem that uses each of the letters in your name. For Example, my name is Nadia:
n- nice
a- absolute
d- dapper
i- intelligent
a- adamant

It's one of the easiest types of name poems. Just make sure that the words you use easily describe yourself.

Gosh it is so marvelous! i admire the section "yet don't get him mad 'reason he will teach you who's undesirable"!! you're very resourceful, i admire the way you integrated music titles and that i think of you're doing a very advantageous tribute to MJ. :) i can not wait to be certain something, although this is amazing how that's!

There was a young man named Mike,
Who loved to do tricks on his bike.
He ran over a toad,
Who went splat on the road,
And told him to take a hike.

Many great leaders have carried my name,
Men of renown or infamy,
The greatest of all is of angel fame,
Zion thanks God for creating me.

Sorry, that's the best I could come up with on such short notice, and you didn't specify how long the poem had to be. Maybe this will give you a fast start.
Good luck!
