My husband and I have a weekend off work coming up and we want to do something but we don't know what. We have no kids, we live in the midlands and have about £200 spend. Any ideas?

As the weather is getting much better now how about going to see something like Cambridge, Oxford, London, Devon and many more what ever tickles your fancy be it history, civilisation or the beach I'd say now is the best time as soon people will realise and do the same thing.

Last weekend me and 5 friends hired a lodge in Leek. It was £40 per person for three nights and it was fantastic. It was a brnad new lodge, 3 double bedrooms, one with four poster and ensuite! It had an amazing outdoor hot tub which we sat in til 2am with cocktails. It had a modern kitchen and lounge diner with lovely garden and views of a lake. We wlaked round the lake on the saturday and just chilled out in the lovely lodge on the Sunday. There were lovely local pubs nearby for Sunday dinner and a bit of night life in nearby Leek. This was through Hoseasons and I can highly recommend it for a cheap relaxing weekend. You don't even need the weather as the outdoor hot tub is under cover. Look at www.hoseasons.co.uk

Make the most of the weather and go to the cotswolds, stay in a B&B and take some walks in the countyside, some drives around pretty villages, picnic off the beathen track and a pub meal in a country pub with a fire. I highly reccomend staying in Bourton-on-the-Water and visiting Bidbury, Moreton in Marsh and Bibury and walking around Upper and Lower Slaughter.

Have a great time whatever you end up doing.
