No! You need bleach, hot water, soap, and a good nit killer as well, otherwise those things just spread all over and someone else gets them.
Best thing to do, get a black bag, place what ever is infected with them in it, seal it air tight and let it sit for about a month. This will cut off all air supply and everything will die. You then need to wash in bleach with hot water.
Otherwise just throw them away and start over, if you don't do something to kill them other than hot water and the dryer they are just going to keep spreading.

No washing your duvet and pillows at a laundromat will not kill bugs in fact you can get all kinds of germs and bugs and even get some nits if someone before you has been infected and used those machines, it is best to use one cup of White Vinegar in your rinse water to kill all germs and bugs White Vinegar is known to be the best disinfectant in the world, it will also soften and remove odors and whiten and clean your whole wash. Good Luck !

most duvet should be dry cleaned unless it's say otherwise on your manufacturer labels... First, I would invest in a good zipped mattress cover and for your pillows. Remember after 3 years of every night usage a pillow should be replaced. Also using a duvet cover that you can wash regularly will help to keep your duvet clean longer.

I would think it would depend on how high the temperature you can wash them in i normally do my bedding at an 60/80 degree wash.If you use the dryer which is hot that could kill the Little buggers.
