Don'tcha just hate it when those "freakin" cars keep breaking down? lol
Dodge is notorious for having transmission problems, for some oddball reason. I also remember having a Dodge Dakota 4x4 and my interior light stopped working right after I pulled it off the dealers lot, and later my stick shift knob fell off.
Apparently someone isn't doing good quality control. That's obvious, eh?
If your truck is on warranty, then I suggest you go scream and yell at your local Dodge dealership and have them repair your truck and make it right. Remember, the squeaky wheel gets the most grease!
Hope you get 'er fixed!
PS... I bought a Nissan Frontier pickup, and I couldn't be happier!

its probably a lemon....you might wanna bring it back to the dealer and get another one if they will let you but states have certain laws that if the same thing keeps going within a matter of time i think its two years the dealership is still responsible for fixing it no charge even if warranty is over. make sure you see if your state has any laws against that

If You give me details, I can give good advice. But, based on the simple question you are asking, i can give you a simple answer: You are not doing Preventative Maintenance services and you Probably don't know or trust a good local mechanic.

Wow.
Are you sure?
You said it's your car. A Dodge Ram is a truck.
Perhaps you're confused about what you're pretending to drive.
