Well, I can attest that cat pee is worse!
Treat the stain with 'Out' Pet Stain Remover
Stand the mattress up on edge and open the window and let the air circulation help. If it's still cold out just close the room off for the day and let the fresh air get to the mattress.
You might tell your doggie that there are people in this world who 'eat' doggies!

You could soak your mattress with a strong smelling hair shampoo and keep wiping it away then put it out in the air to dry it should be ok. I know here in Australia there are people who clean mattresses you could look up in your yellow pages.

You would need to use a good organic cleaner. Organic cleaning leaves a neutral smell. If that doesn't work, replace the mattress. Sometimes you just have to spend the money.

Dog p or any organic smell does not last indefenitely. The oxygen around us will render it odorless. I suggest you do nothing but clear away the sheets and expose it to an open window so the oxygen of air can oxidize it and it will soon be refreshed.
Purchase a plastic cover for your matress, the new kind arent slipery and have a really good feel to them.
